Just got email notification for from Total Wine for their Spring Whiskey Lottery. Ended up with another Blanton’s (same as the Pappy Lottery back in February).
same here. (I only had ~1k points so far this year though, so I couldn’t really compete with people who had actually been spending so far)

FWIW BevMo had an email blast offering Blanton’s about a week or two ago.
I had about 6k in points and got the Old Forester Birthday Bourbon. Never had it but looking forward to it.

I bought 2 bottles here in NJ at $75 & $80
Would not rebuy. I would spend the $ elsewhere
For that price I would prefer a Heavens Door rye or Basil Hayden 10 yr
As said upthread, Blantons is the participation trophy in this lottery. If you were local it would be a good pickup for that price

Last fall, I scored on a bottle of 10-yr old Rip, but I struck out this spring. I had like 20K+ points too! The staff at our local store says NV doesn’t get allocated very many “special” bottles…
Scott I think those Pappy’s and other allocated items are going to the casinos for the high rollers in the case of NV. They pour a sh*t load of booze and don’t think they would be shy about flexing their muscle about switching out the house bourbon/vodka/gin/tequila to another distributer if they don’t get a “fair” allocation

Not bourbon but heres something ridiculous. Just tried to order 3 bottles of CC from my distributor. Told I could only have 2 because they are out.

Same here - at least it was a “barrel select” bottle, but I have no idea how that is different from the normal single barrel bottling. It was my 4th choice behind some Weller selections. I think next time around I’m going to leave off any Blanton’s…
Same here - used to get Pappy every year and now only Blantons (if that) about the last 5 times. Now that they do the stupid 10x points promos a whole bunch of people qualify for the offer. Whole thing is a microcosm of the quality drop in the store over the last 5 years. Everything from the employees to the cleanliness to the pricing. Moved most of my purchases elsewhere.
Took blanton’s off the ‘wish list’ and was the first time I didn’t win anything. (had blantons 4x in a row and didn’t need anymore)

Spring lottery is open - make your selections! A couple of EHT (barrel proof & warehouse c) on the list this time in Nevada along with O-F B-Day and a couple of Blanton’s (also an Angel’s Envy, but at $230 I’m not a buyer). Don’t think I’ve seen a Pappy’s on the list in the last 4-5 years.
