Still a baby collector and diversifying my interests, but I have been primarily focused on prominent California producers building verticals and other fun pairings.

I live near Berns and some of my wine interest was seeded through older vintage larks from the cellar. Recently collecting some older bottles including a bottle older than anything I have tried yet - 1949 4th growth for MIL upcoming bday paired with 3 additional modern vintages.

Recently seeking out a lot more Washington and northern Rhône producers for some variety. Mixed in with sprinklings of some Tuscans and Rioja. Plus some random Australian Syrah, sav blanc (want more Sancerre), lots of Sauternes, and building more Riesling and Bordeaux. Used to be drawn to burgundy but have fallen away in recent years, and I do need more Barolo and Barbaresco. So many options!

Ridge Vineyards
Spring Mountain Vineyard
Mount Eden Vineyards
Kapcsándy Family Winery
Meteor Vineyard
Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars
Château Mouton Rothschild
Château d’Yquem
Château Latour
Shafer Vineyards

These are my top two white Burgundy holdings also. Great producers!

Are you stuck buying some of the other domaines (Tourettes, Closiot) to get the allocations? I stopped buying from the domaine because of that.

Luckily not. I do buy a bit of Verget as well, but that is on my own initiative as I find them great value white burgs to share with non wine-geeks

Proud of my No# 4 position now being: Donnhoff, mostly older Spätlese between 2003 and 2019. Love these bottles.

Thanks. I have never tried 2015. I was underwhelmed by 17, 18 and really liked 19. Will keep an eye out for 2022!
