You missed my point entirely. You said “most better wines from 2010, another fabulous vintage, are still very primary and too young”. I gave you an example of a 2010 wine which I, and every other guest at the table that evening, felt was resolved and firing on all cylinders. A Premier Cru Chambolle-Musigny, as you said. I’m aware that exceptions confirm the rule and that we might arguably not even be talking about one of the better wines of the vintage, but I was, in fact, not arguing that I had to wait a long time for it to mature and what a shame that is, which is how you interpreted my response for some reason.
