Yikes I have 5 bottles of the 19 remaining. I’ve opened it twice in 2024 and they both showed great. But the last 2 tasting notes in CT (yours and someone else’s) both report premox. That just shouldn’t happen on a 6 year old Chablis.
I started drinking white Burgs ~ 6 years ago and thought that maybe I’d dodged a bullet and premox was behind us…but no. Modern bottles can definitely have it. I’ve recently had poxed bottles of 17-20 Niellon (and also good ones to be fair), and a 20 Tribut Chablis, courtesy of @Dennis_Atick
Interestingly, the perfectly fresh 12’ Dauvissat le Clos we tapped that night was a wax-capped bottle that must have come from overseas originally.

@Steve_McL We also had a premoxed '18 Dauvissat Forest that I opened in March. At least i have it noted as such in CT - thought it was with you- might have been just me at home.
