Yep I agree. Poorly worded email initially, but I hope they’ll hook us up on the Gelblack. That Silberlack was a heck of a deal.
I have dealt with Garagiste as a customer and a vendor for over 20 years. I have yet to see a time they haven’t made something right be it wine, sub, price, or refund.
From a vendor perspective, I have had suppliers confirm a wine domestically or in Europe and when it arrived it was something different, vintage and even label, and all or most of the stock of the original item was already gone or mistakenly shipped elsewhere.
Not much you can do, but feel bad and make it right with the wine as a replacement and if cost is lower do the best you can to get it discounted lower due to the error.
Received some mystery wines today:

Any thoughts on today’s Napa oakville/rutherford offering?
It sold out in like 1.5 hours.
Good to know–my buddy picked up a few bottles. Any ideas what the offer was?
I was pissed i tried to buy one lol
Pretty sure it’s the Pera Cabernet Sauvignon Viv Vineyard Napa Valley 2019. I got an email the next day from Last Bottle offering “Over 70% Off Single Vineyard Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon!” with the price reduced from $145 to $39.
Too much of a coincidence.
The line that gave me pause in the Garagiste email was “the wine we offer below was intended to be the equal” to a previous 100 pt wine. I interpreted that to mean “it’s not as good as the winemaker intended”!
Nice eye–the garagiste offer was for 2018. Maybe LB got the 2019?
Could be!
Also, here are some recent mysteries:
Sancerre Mystery = 2020 Henri Bourgeois “La Bourgeoise” Sancerre Blanc
2019 Barbaresco = 2019 Bel Colle Barbaresco
2020 Pinot Noir Mystery = 2020 Sidewood Estate Pinot Noir
The first and third are decent values and I enjoyed my first taste of the Pinot. The Barbaresco needs cellaring for several years, which isn’t my ideal mystery but hopefully will be an amazing bottle to drink in the future

Anyone get the Tuscan Legend Mystery offered on January 7, 2023?
I have 9 bottles ordered but can’t figure out Garagiste shipping/pickup
Are you a shipping or a pickup customer?
Shipping.
I only have 9 bottles thus far in my orders so I assume when I hit 12, they hit me for shipping
2 shipping windows per year. Spring and fall. There is a Chart somewhere in their shipping FAQs that shows the shipping months by state. They only ship full cases automatically during your shipping window
You have 9 bottles on order but have the all been landed at Garagiste? Some may still have a pending status so are not yet available to ship
You can always do a special request for cowboy shipping
This is either shipping outside the date windows ( you take responsibility for weather damage) or shipping less than 12 bottles, either inside or outside the shipping window
Anyone have ideas on the 3.0 liter chianti from this past sunday’s snapshot?
