thank you! the malbec is aged in used barrels only so very different profile to argentine/napa versions. it’s very soft, red fruited with herbal spiciness instead of oak tones. it’s paso so it’s kinda round and gulpable. ready to go.

This is simple. When I asked my wife what to but on Berserkerday, she said, “You know that Cab with the colorful label in the box that won’t fit in the wine cellar that we really like [Stereophonic cabernet offered at wholesale]? Buy that and Tercero.” A better recommendation you cannot get! I have not had the chardonnay but for that price, it’s probably a steal.

The Chardonnay is indeed really freaking good. I will frankly be disappointed if it’s not in every single order.

So long as it does not give me splinters in my mouth and does not taste like butter, it’s a steal at that price. Make a silly colorful label and it will be gift-able.

I will be going on 3+ cases of the chardonnay, fwiw. It’s got plenty of citrus/peel/oil. Nothing baked or overripe. Like a solid 1er cru Chablis that saw barrel treatment.
