First of all, thank YOU for making such beautiful wines. My wife and I absolutely love the reds we purchased (pinot noir, grenache and table). Really opened my eyes to what grenache can be. Love the labels too and the nod to Joni.
I purchased from 8 wineries on Berserker Day and yours are definitely one of the faves. S&D is one of the wines I grab when we’re going on a trip and want to make sure we have something that will make the trip more fun. I’ve brought your wine to New Orleans, Las Vegas, Twentynine Palms and Healdsburg. I think we’re down to 1 bottle of pinot noir (insert sad face). I tried hard to make them last longer but alas…
I’m happy to support you and hope you continue to make wine for a long time. The world needs more women making wine.

MEET VINCE
Last May, at the richly developed, let’s call it 
, “Old Vine” age of 43, I welcomed an amazing baby boy Vincent into the world.
For several months after, my phone insisted on autocompleting his name to “VinDependence.” Which at first was a nuisance and then became this sort of beloved small but much needed inner chuckle in my then very sleep deprived era.
And, since Wine Berserkers has never met a theme I don’t passionately lean into…
…Vince-Dependence Days was born and from it, these very “Vincent Approved” offerings.

This fine Chardonnay is both full and elegant, if a trifle reserved at opening. The nose offers scents of fresh apple skin, baked green apple and quince along with emerging hints of nectarine, chamomile, honey, nutmeg and hazelnut nougat.
Zest and minerality bring a racy feel on the palate where graceful yet tongue-coating flavors fan out in a supple display. The finish is lingering and builds with airing to unfold a more plush replica of the aromatic profile. Likely to grow in dimension over the next year or two, ((note: reviewed late 2022)) it will become a generous companion to the richer fish, fowl and white meat entrees"
