I’m in Seattle and initially was told my wines would ship this last week, then I heard nothing and reached out and was told that it was going to be next week, likely 6/11. Sounds like they’re pretty swamped with orders but if you e-mail concierge@springmtn.com you should hear back within a day or two.
Yeah I put shipment last week since I’m available to sign. I reached out after seeing no shipment and was told they’re going to start shipping on 6/11. Sadly this was ill planned logistics on their part. I get the desire to move things ASAP and get the cash but do it right at least or notify your customers on the change.
Slightly frustrating when they said they were going to ship this past Monday and then hear nothing.
Temps are going to be 80 this way now, not sure which way I’ll go with the order at this point.
Tried to add a couple of these bottles onto my order and was told they can’t combine the orders so would have to hit the $250 min with the add-ons to get free shipping (odd…). Pass!
I totally get your point, but I’m that guy, I went back for another $250+. Couldn’t resist.
Now have 10 bottles and a magnum. Buying that much on top of my overfull storage is stupid, not buying more at these prices is stupid. There is no right answer, other than just to be a Berserker and be mostly okay with it.
This should be pinned at the top of the WB site
I’ve already made 6 separate orders…and still keep sneaking back to the site and reconsidering more. For the past week, whenever I’ve gotten the ‘wine deal too good to pass up’ email offers, I invariably compare them against the Elivette sale…and usually end up pulling the trigger on more Elivette. To the comment above, not buying more at these prices is just stupid. For the sake of my marriage, SVV needs to shut this sale down immediately.
You are both right, just went back for more…
Snagged another mixed case, with 2 375’s of ‘04. Silly prices, how could I not?
Despite my email asking them to hold shipping, they sent an email informing me that they are shipping in 1-2 weeks. Kind of ridiculous given that it’s quit warm now.
So, those here who are in “back up the truck” mode might consider whether cooked wine is a
value at any price.
You should reach out to them, mistakes happen
I would reach out again. They were very quick to respond to me. Just put in another order for 6 more bottles last night, with a ship date of 11/10, and my confirmation email had the correct ship date this time as well so the original glitch seems to have been fixed as well
THESE PRICES ARE SO GOOD IT’S EVEN WORTH IT IF THE WINE IS COOKED!!!
For me, I’m in Orange County, and the temps in Napa and here are plenty fine for shipping (and I’m not one that thinks the wine going through the intervening areas on a truck for part of a day is material – I know others feel differently and everyone should make his own choice).
I understand it’s different in other parts of the country. I obviously wouldn’t have it shipped to me in Dallas at this time of year.
Probably true. But the wine has to get there somehow. I would guess it would go straight down I-5? Highs in the 90s along much of that stretch.
Has anyone heard, or have a gut feeling if and/or when they might move on to their other categories. Thanks
thought I’d sit this out, but checked today and surprised how much is still available, so ended up with 3 cases
6 bottles each of 12,15,16,17,18,19
I just added 48 of the 2001 6L bottles to my cart and it accepted it(then I deleted it, of course ). I wonder if anyone is keeping track of inventory and removing it from the sale when sold out. Have people seen specific years disappear as they sold out?
Never mind. I answered my own questions as some of the magnums from my first order are no longer listed for sale.
2013 is gone. A lot of 375s too.
