Shouldn't the Negroni rate its own thread?

Confirmed with a friend.

Make a liter of Negroni
Add 200 grams of whole coffee beans, light or medium roast (said dark roast pushed flavor profile the wrong direction)
Soak for only one hour

I may try tonight with one glass and a few beans to see if I can replicate on a smaller scale

How was it?

It was ok. I think it was too strong coffee by using a darker roast and grounds.

We recently had dinner with a friend who joined us on the trip. She followed the recipe, and it was better. But even we agreed slightly less time, BUT she also used a dark roast coffee.

I used Cocchi vermouth, which may have been too rich and conflicted. I bought some more Compari and Dolin vermouth. Need to buy some lighter roast beans. But I am definitely going to try this again.
