SF Bay Area/Peninsula March 4 OL - Yuzu

Klapp is in town? [snort.gif]

We’re up in Napa but will be heading home in the early evening. Will pop into to say hi and do a flying drop off/pick up of some wine around 7-7:30ish.

George, was that your 4 pack of Lombard Champ that you forgot to take? I took it with me. If so, I’ll bring it to Ridge.

I think it was Andrew’s.

That 4 pack was mine. Will get it from you next time, Larry.

Fun times last night, as usual. Lots of quality bottles on the tables, and nice to make the acquaintance of Yao C.

Here’s the mostly complete list of what we had:

1938 Huet Vouvray Demi Sec
1977 Gould Campbell port
1996 Domaine de L’Arlot Clos des Forets Saint-Georges
1997 Stony Hill Sémillon de Soleil
2001 Schloss Johannesburg Riesling Spatlese
2002 d’Angerville Volnay 1er Cru
2002 Laurent Vosne Beaumonts
2006 Heidsieck Brut Rose

2012 Chasselas “Un Matin Face au Lac”, Dominique Lucas
2015 Paul Croses Viré-Clessé Vielles Vignes
2017 Harrington Vernalis (Pinot Gris Ramato style)
NV Harrington Twelve Moons (Greco di Tufo/Malvasia/Muscat)
NV Diebolt-Vallois Blanc de Blancs

2002 Laurent Vosne Beaumonts

Also, the white from Savoie, 2012 Chasselas “Un Matin Face au Lac”, Dominique Lucas.

Harrington NV Twelve Moons (Greco di Tufo/Malvasia/Muscat)
Harrington '17 Vernalis (Pinot Gris Ramato style)
1997 Stony Hill Sémillon de Soleil

There was also a 2002 d’Angerville Volnay 1er Cru in there somewhere

It was a pleasure to meet all of you! Looking forward to the next one champagne.gif

Great to meet you Yao. Hope you can join us again.

The Dagueneau was 2010, btw.

My stand outs were -
Arlot
Heidsieck
Huet
Schloss

Arlot loved the nose but forgot to go back for another sip. Heidsieck, Chasselas, Huet, and Stony Hill were my faves, but honorable mention for the changing complex sometimes weird sometimes lovely nose on the Twelve Moons.
