Sorry gents I now reside across the pond.
My apologies for not being more available when I was back in Miami.
Morning, bud - yes, we are available on either of those dates.
And congratulations on incoming baby #2!
See you there tomorrow ![]()
See you there, Mariano! I’m bringing a Vire Clesse for the ceviche and a 98 Suduiraut for dessert!
I’ve got a few options lined up, some more budget-friendly and some on the higher end, depending on what direction everyone wants to go. I’ll keep looking for additional spots over the next few weeks as well. If anyone has other ideas, send them my way. Miami’s gotten pretty tough when it comes to hosting wine dinners and corkage policies. Too many restaurants these days seem like they want to limit the bottles and maintain high corkage.
Macchialina can host us privately with a 4-course menu at $85 per person and $25 corkage per bottle. Their sister spot, Bar Bucci, can do something similar with a lower $10 corkage.
On the higher end, Boia De offers a private room for 12 people at $395 per person, which includes unlimited food, unlimited corkage, and a somm.
Macchialina or Bar Bucce sounds great, I personally like to support any venture where Jacqueline Pirolo is involved.
Really enjoyed Macchialina when I’ve been there, that’s my first pick. Put me in the preference of the ~$150-$200/pp range, lol.
At the same time, unlimited food and unlimited corkage - whew, lol.
Im in for whichever the majority picks
Also down for any of the options.
Walrus Rodeo is also a good alternative - same owners as Boia De but a bit more friendly on price. Food is also excellent.
6/11 won’t be an option for me anymore
I hope we can do it on 06/04.
