Season in South Florida

I think I can do that

I am in for the 29th. Eve is work dependent. I will know about a week before for her

Count me in please.

Now this is getting big! Laurie and I are in for Thursday, January 29th. How many are we now and can Kojin handle all of us??

We need a theme as well…

I will reach out to the chef and reserve 20 spots. As for theme I am good with anything but I am loving me some bubbles lately

We are reserved for 20 people on January 29th at 7:45pm
@ KOJIN 2.0
804 Ponce de Leon Blvd.
Coral Gables, FL 33134

I will be there for dinner Saturday and will discuss menu options with the chef

Looking at the menu, the starters call for Champagne or a crispy mineral white. The main dishes looks like it can handle something more robust.

Nice. Thanks Raul and Jesse.

Im in! Im staying in Biscayne Bay on that trip so easy hop over to CG.
For the wine, do you guys allocate themes, bring blinds, how do you normally do it?

The menu is changing tomorrow but I will report back. The starters will likely remain the same but I agree the mains can handle something a bit bigger

Good morning, all! Jesse reached out to me on Reddit, and I’m looking forward to dinner & meeting everyone! I hoped to find a good local group of wine folks to share the hobby with. Count my lady and I in for the 29th.

This is going to be great. As for the wine theme, bubbles and crispy, cold weather whites are always great with the seafood we’ll be having. But I’m also a barbarian who will drink red wine with ice cream! With that in mind, let’s ponder some of those later course red options!

Good morning everyone. Super excited to get together. I will post an updated menu this weekend so we can plan the theme but I think Bubbles should definitely be part of it!!

Rough count I think we are at 16 ppl. I reserved for 20 but we can increase to 24 if need be, I think 24 is about the most they can handle

Cheers!!

Make sure that they have enough wine glasses for us, or we will have to arrange to bring extras. Lets try to cap it at 16 people so everyone can try all of the wines.

We may be at 16 or slightly over now. @Scott_Brunson are you in town. I think 20 should be good and I do believe they have enough glasses but if not I will make sure we are taken care of by getting more glasses

We are back in town, but we won’t know about the 29th until a little closer to game time. Def don’t hold seats for us but I’ll chime in ASAP.

Shot of wine for everyone!

If we’re doing desserts, Sauternes is one of my specialties, got a couple of older bottles just aching to be opened. I’ll wait to hear the theme!
