How do the cab releases tend to go? If they’ve been selling out among previous buyers year over year I can imagine a lot of the discussion being less overt

All discussions around releases are muted these days. We just went through Bedrock and Carlisle with minimal discussion.

I’m guessing Roy will sell out, I’ll be a buyer. I am curious about Bonny’s, as I believe that was where the Cab Franc was from.

Same. I’ve seen less discussions around releases overall, but I’ll be there to get my share!

To answer some questions…

  1. The Vintner Gazette has been put on semi-permanent hold. I just bit off more than I can chew and although I loved doing it, I was taking long gaps between issues so had to pause subs and regroup. Maybe again someday!

  2. As for 2023 Bonny’s, I did make a minor 100 cases of it and I love it and might release it in the fall as a last minute add-on before shipping.

  3. Existing buyers next Tuesday and the wait list the following Tuesday, 8/4. If anyone here is on that list and really wants the 2024, email me at roy@roypiperwines.com and lemme see what I can do after last year’s buyers get their shot.
