I received my outstanding order today. Pretty quick after emailing them to request shipping last week.
I made two pre-arrival orders end of Jan. Heard from them in July that it had arrived (only after I asked) and they offered to hold the wine until the end of October due to heat. Since reaching out 2w ago, they first said I needed to pay for additional shipment which I offered to do right away, but now itās been 10+ days of not hearing from them despite multiple followups on my side.
Thereās other reports of this sort on other forums. They even had a phone number in my original order confirmation but when I call it, itās out of service. Something seems very off with this business at this time. Hoping they take action soon, but Iām at the point where a credit card chargeback seems like my only optionā¦
@nking maybe you can help and clear this up?
Hi Carlos - we are sorting through orders now. We have been navigating some of the challenges of bonded warehousing and are triaging many shipping requests. I will elevate this to our team. Thank you for your patience.
I followed these steps online and heard from their shipping department within a few days.
Received my wines as requested within two weeks.
2+ cases for things I had made in January (Agrapart Mineral champagne, 16 Drouhin Charmes-Chambertin, 22 Jouan CSD).
Far as I could tell there were no extra charges for me for tariffs. Overall, perfectly fine experience.
I do still have a magnum of 16 MG Ruchottes in bond on the other side of the pond. Fine by me till the unpleasantness subsides.
I too had a fine experience receiving a case of wine a few weeks ago that I had purchased in the spring and was on weather hold. I did everything through the website (as opposed to emailing/calling) to arrange shipping and it worked fine.
Still waiting on my wine after an email on 10/23 saying my release request was āalready in process.ā
Iāve had a good experience with Vint Marketplace over the course of several orders over the past couple of years. But Iām surprised to see so few SKUs on their site these days. Does anyone know whatās up?
Tariffs
Iāve yet to receive my wines. Given the lack of response, I filed a dispute with my bank. After this, someone finally reached out. However, after I asked to know when the wines would ship before I canceled my dispute, radio silence for the last 3 days. Are you all still looking to actually fulfill the order, or maybe you actually prefer that I cancel?
@Carlos_M did you follow the steps outlined in this post upthread? Retailer Check: Vint Marketplace (Washington, D.C.) - #269 by jeff_min
Yes. I tried that, but it didnāt give me the option to select shipping method. After I submitted it didnāt lead to anything.
I also have had major issues. I made one pre-arrival order in March and heard in October (after emailing the store) that the wine had arrived and was ready to ship. The support team noted that I can request the store ship the wine by replying to the email and specifying when I would like it shipped. I immediately responded, stating that I would like the wine shipped the week of November 10, 2025. However, I have not received any further updates from the support team about the bottle. In addition, when I log in to my private reserves account, the website shows the wine as in stock, but I canāt request a delivery date. Thus, the bottle seems to be in limbo.
At this point, I am more upset about the storeās lack of communication, as there seems to be nothing I can do about when the bottle will be delivered besides emailing the store regularly.
Update: it took filing a dispute for the merchant to finally respond to me. After some back and forth, they actually decided to accept the dispute and cancel my order.
Word of warning for anyone considering buying from Vint: This does not look like a healthy business that one can trust right now, and definitely not for any pre-arrival orders that youāre not expected to see for months.
My wine finally showed up, about 8 months after I placed the order and 2 months after I first requested the wine be released. All is well that ends well, I suppose, but like others I doubt I would use Vint again.
Agreed. Im waiting to hear back from them about replacing my pre-arrivals with something they currently have in stock, which I was told i could do.
I suppose it will take 3 emails sent before i hear anything back.
Vint is sometimes slow to reply to emails, but they eventually do. My most recent of four purchases is in transit to storage. All things considered, Iām a happy enough customer to continue to buy from Vint Marketplace.
This a challenging business model with or without the tariff. Since the Premier Cru debacle, many credit card companies have shortened their chargeback periods. In addition, one should become familiar with the concept of clawback.
Are they okay to deal with in terms of āin-stockā items? This seems to be a pretty good offer.

My Vint order from 12/2024 showing complete but never arrived. One email 4/2025 from support saying wine in stock and no tariff and asking to confirm shipping address (which was never corrected on the order) and still no response. I have been kindly emailing since and no response. @nking Order #648092
The arbitrage is so thin that if they scale up, they lose more money.
