Retailer Check: Millesima Futures

Anyone had luck with futures from Millesima?

I suspect I’m getting the run around on answers for my '19 Lynch-Bages. Forst was told they arrived so paid the shipping, then told that was a mistake and they are on the container being offloaded so will hear from them in a few weeks. A month later checked back and was told that that was a mistake and they are on the next incoming container. Really hoping I’m going to see this wine.

I purchased 19 Canon and DdC (375, 750, and 1.5) from them on futures and all were delivered last month. Hopefully they will come through for you. Only 19 BDX I still am waiting for, purchased from other retailers, is 19 Pichon Lalande, both 750 and 1.5 L.

I just got notice about my 2019s being ready to ship. Paid shipping and they will ship out on Monday. Only frustrating part is paying $110 for one case ground plus wood from NYC to ATL. Extremely high.

Bought from them plenty of times over the last 5 years with very good experiences.

I guess taxes also, but I hate out of state retailers that charge sales tax so same difference to me.

I have had great experiences with Millesima in both shipping and pickup (from their store and warehouse). Great service and very responsive on the phone and by email.

FWIW - I’m still waiting on some 2019 Lynch Bagea from a different retailer (wine.com).

I’m in the same boat. For both '19 Lynch Bages and La Mission Haut Brion. Also have my antenna up. Getting the same run around as you. Growing increasingly concerned.

This retailer has the worst customer service I’ve ever seen in my life, unless you enjoy getting the runaround. Have been told multiple times via email my 2019 futures order had arrived, and paid for the shipping, only to then be told they mistakenly told me it arrived. Talked to a guy on the phone 3 weeks ago who said he was going to ship it that week, never got notification or shipment…and now crickets when I try to contact them. Wondering if they are going the way of Sherry Lehman. Avoid them at all costs.

I’ve bought about 20 cases from millesima and had no issues.

They don’t have good customer service, but that’s not quite a justified reason to claim they are going under or not going to fulfill orders. That’s rather libelous. I’ve received some of my '19 and not others.

Can speak to good service and no issues with any of my futures orders for 2018. Also great service and shipping with any in-stock wines.

Have never had an issue either which is good. Though given that, Ive never had to chase them so it sounds like thats a weakness. I’d trust they will make good given the community feedback even though it’s frustrating on your end
