If you like your Corton plush, keep an eye out for Michel Mallard. He makes nice Renardes and Rognet (and good Aloxe and Ladoix), all reasonably priced.
I’ve said it elsewhere but I think Bouchard’s le Corton is great. The 16 was was open, primary and tasty for ages, but seems to be settling into maturation now.
Ecard Savigny Narbantons 1993
Served with rack of lamb. Ecard used to be an everyday wine. Last year, I promoted it to a weekend one, partly because my supply was beginning to run out, but mostly how good they were.
This was showing beautifully; cherries, smoke and spice. The finish was medium long. It is probably the longest lived of the Ecard stable, and needs the most time, but very rewarding at its peak.
Your dad took good care of you. He is now 90 years old, you should let him to drink more BM but you … *** slipped him some Cos d’Estournel so I could hog up a little extra of the BM, *****

Peter, it was a joke. Do not be so quick with those preachy poetic scolds. Someone made the comment that the wine in his dad’s glass in the picture looked like Bordeaux, so @PaulN jokingly said he’d slipped his dad some Cos. He did nothing of the kind.

Excellent, lively, dare I say crunchy, pomegranate and red cherry bright fruits, with vibrant acid back bone. Just so pure and vivacious! NB Vintage is 2023.
I really don’t hate the Lamy-Pillot reds. The white are nothing like his Lamy-Caillat, but the reds are very crushable.
My generalist group looked at Northern Nuits vs Southern Vosne. Neither are particularly my favourites and I found some of the wines tough going.
The last bracket was 2006s which the table liked much more than I did. After some really lovely 06s a few weeks ago (Rousseau CsJ, Fourrier CsJ, Bruno Clair CsJ, JJ Confuron Beaux Monts and Lamarche La Croix Rameau) I thought these showed like I usually find 06s - tannic, blocky and drying.

A corton producer for which I’ve not yet fried,
Fichet 2023 Meursault Gruyaches - drinking great, minerality, sappy citrus fruit, intense, a lot of future ahead, but great now.
Mongeard-Mugneret Savigny 1er 1991 - wow drinking amazing. Cork was almost fully saturated. Magic nose, spice, mature fruit, fresh. Continued in the mouth, long and satisfying. Not a grand structure, but a lot of pleasure, performing way above expectations.
Chandon Briailles Corton Bressandes 2013 - in the drinking zone, more fresh fruit and minerality than the 1991 and good depth. Drinking very good now, but I kept going back to the Mongeard.
That one didn’t last long from the “What did you buy” thread to the “What did you drink” one! 
He was the winemaker for Eugenie until recently if you’ve had those.
Awesome line up and notes Will. I’ve never got my head around 06s but Grivot and Arnoux are poster boys for firm and tannic in my book
Good to know Kent. I’ve had a fair few Grivots and am yet to connect with their style, but this was my first Arnoux.
Balance and understated elegance, especially in bigger vinages, is exactly how Drouhin shines, for me.
Still on the young side and shows the acidity of the vintage. It has true GC fruit capable of holding the acidity at bay. The acidity, spice, and fruit, combine for a racy mouthful. Very fun to drink with a very long finish. This was brought to a restaurant where it was decanted for about an hour; it can be drunk and enjoyed now or held for years.
I really liked this wine. I see from CT i have purchased seven bottles of the 2002. Alas, I drank my last one in 2019. I thought the wine fully mature but in no danger of fading soon. Glad your bottle showed well..
