Premier Cru Master Complaint Thread (MERGED)

Doing backdoor cash transactions with other retailers would also in part explain why rejected Rhone pre-arrivals aren’t showing up for sale on the site. I haven’t seen it established one way or the other whether PC can still take credit cards (though based on sheer dispute volume, I would be stunned if they could, and if I were an AMEX shareholder, furious), but they can likely take cash from flush businesses elsewhere. That said, hard to imagine that would amount to more than a drop in the bucket in the grand scheme of things.

Again, no direct knowledge, speculating, etc.

I bought a mylar bag (magnum format) and have yet to be charged.

FWIW.

YMMV.

I wonder what their computer system, software program, mailing list is worth to someone.
I saw the comment from someone that the software delivery system etc. was the most sophisticated he had ever seen.

As others note, Occam’s razor seems to hint at not a lot of assets (though I’m sure they sourced some stuff that hasn’t shipped -probably because they haven’t paid shipper). As noted previously, if there was really a warehouse full of all the promised wine (or signed deals with Bdx negociants) why would they not have gotten an affidavit (say from a French lawyer )long ago?

Is bouncing checks not a crime in CA? Are there not civil penalties?

If rumors are true re backdoor cash/wire transfer only deals it would be very interesting whether WTs are going into business accounts or somewhere else.

I’m not sure Lou D’s “slickest inventory system” would be that valuable, as most retailers don’t need to know what they need to source.
I’m sure the PC mailing list has value, but unlikely to equal the value of say any one of several SKUs of DRC they owe.

Dusey?? Seriously?

that’s a bingo.

And…
I got jumped on!
“Drown The Witch”!!!

He’s a witch!

He said something that wasn’t 100% negative towards Premier Cru
He’s a Witch!!!
Let’s test it!
Throw him in the lake
Witches float
So if he comes up, kill him
And if he drowns, he’s not a Witch!!!

Ducks float. If you weigh the same as a duck, then you are a witch.

Bring the big scales.

Here’s a good one from Whitney yesterday:

“There is no container on the water that I am aware of.”

That or he’s a very small rock.

Or maybe a cherry.

Or some gravy.

Your Mylar May Vary?

I’ve been battling with AMEX for the last 2 weeks and have had no success. Tried the fraud dept. Tried the supervisor route. 14 transactions dating back to Jan 2014 through October 2015. The last one was dealt with. But the other 13 transactions I’m getting the stiff arm from AMEX. Same old 60 day dispute window problem. Charges total over $12k.

Can somebody please help guide me on the magic words or any insight on successfully dealing with this?

Any help would be incredibly appreciated.

Thanks
Roy

PS Also tried the Chat and the Supervisor in Chat route and got shot down there as well.

Chatting with the 2nd AMEX supervisor right now. His response is that the “system is no longer letting us dispute the charges.” Any insight on how to get around this “system” problem?

Thank you very much.
Roy

Roy - Have you tried all the paths described in this thread over say the last 50 pages? Recommend those routes. or maybe Amex is realizing they are the patsy in the PC poker game, and don’t want to play anymore, and have put some kind of block on chargebacks for this particular vendor. Seems weird/rare/odd to me that they would do that, but who knows.

Arv
Unfortunately, I have read all 117 pages and gone through each one of those techniques. I’m still hoping that I made progress with the 2nd supervisor on chat and if not, I’ll keep at it.

Thanks
Roy

Is there a chance that there have been so many Amex charge backs to this one merchant account that the company has flagged it or something?
