Deep, powerful tones, but kind of dull and plodding. Feels like it should play a supporting role in a blend which features some brighter, higher toned varieties, rather than as the solo act. NR

Recently drank two of my favorite BD finds and am hoping they are back so I can restock.
2014 JB Neufeld Two Blondes Cabernet Sauvignon – Hard to find a better cab at this price for my money. Black cherry, cassis fruit but restrained and elegant. Has enough stuffing to go a little longer, but my last one and I wanted some friends to taste this as I knew they would love it (and they did).
The Stereophonic Dream of Spring (2018) is a Syrah-dominant GSM blend with dense plum/blackberry
raspberry/strawberry fruit balanced by some acidity and peppery notes. The Starblanket (2019) is a Petite Sirah/Grenache (50/50) blend with bright/crisp black cherry/blackberry with more pronounced pepper, spicy notes from the Petite Sirah. Both delicious.

Any GCC members who upgrade just have to notify me of it (and BEFORE THURSDAY!) and I’ll cancel GCC and do a prorated refund
