Pre Berserker Day Shout Outs -- What are you excited about?

Yeah, totally different companies (if you can call WB a ‘company’) - funny thing is, both Eric and I exchange freemium payments annually. He pays for his GCC and I pay for my CT!

We put our money where our ‘mouth’ is!

shows MC!

For those questioning their specific account status, feel free to PM me, don’t post it here, on a public (and very popular, for good reason!) thread

Funny enough, my kids (8 and 6) liked it, but my spouse was not a fan. She specifically said not to buy any more “old meat” and could smell it in the house for days after cooking.

We run very distinct businesses.

You don’t have to beat me about the head and neck to get that point across–you used the word “REALLY”! Please say hello to MC-Kevin!!!

I’m almost out of Veleta olive oil, so that’s high priority. Beyond that, I’ll be looking at old favorites (e.g. Tercero, Sabelli-Frisch, Lagier Meredith, Flannery pork caps if available) and checking out other offers to see if there are new-to-me wineries with compelling offers. I’m fairly limited on both budget and storage space, so we’ll see how much I actually end up with this year…

No kidding - this ‘I’m limited in budget’ crap - that kind of language doesn’t belong on BerserkerDay.

Because it was so selective this year, I’m hoping the sellers go all out, as much as they can

Just “upgraded” to MC!!! @ToddFrench nice job of making the obvious…very obvious. I dont want to miss out on the special sauce

Very excited for BD15 as I only dipped my toe into the pool for BD14

Eric don’t sell CellarTracker short… It is so much more than just a business…

I’m sure Mr. Bean would agree…

We are rationing our last 1.5 bottles of Veleta olive oil and sherry vinegar, so they are #1 on my list, with my husband urging me to make sure we have enough (somehow, he never says that about my wine purchases ).
Also on my watchlist are:

  • Ansonia
  • Vinous Reverie, if they participate this year. Awesome selections!
  • Glasvin Kane
  • Sabelli Frisch Flame Tokay (if you haven’t tried it, you must)
  • anything sparkling or rosé. I am swimming in red wine and rarely drink it anymore, so it’s on my no-buy list. Famous last words…
  • caviar to go with the sparkling.

I am sure there are many more offers that will tempt me, but these are top of mind. The Veleta is imperative though, as the warden will file a complaint if I fail to get some .

I really enjoyed Yan — just very lovely wine.

Disclosure, I was a “newbie taster” for the Cabernet. It was an absolute showstopper. Very serious California Cabernet, very worthy of consideration.

What style of cab was it?

My notes here:

Bottom line, it had loads of structure, a nice fruit core. Needed a serious decant. I anticipate it will age well.

Looks like they dont ship to ~20 states, mine being one of them. Hopefully thats changed since BD14

PSA: We’re “asking nicely” that all offers have an updated list of states to ship. I know it’s a pain in the arse for everyone.

Some can ship to states not listed. You have to ask.
There may be a 3rd party shipping option that is not in the normal online order process. I’ve received wine here in NJ many times even though it wasn’t listed as a ship to state.

Ask right in the thread. The responsiveness and customer care is exemplary from the participating sellers.
