Your feet would have probably saved it. ![]()
The other day, I had this decanter standing up by the sink after washing, and a few minutes later a hear a crash! It fell over, then bounced and dive bombed into the sink and rattled around. Did NOT break! ![]()
I have a a fondness for Japanese ceramics. Spent hours last November for the perfect mug, finally found it. Perfect size, shape , color, feel in my hand.
Two nights ago, it was on the drying rack and when I moved something, it slid off the rack , into the sink, I breaking into a dozen pieces.
I break wine glasses occasionally, but those are fairly fungible. There wasn’t even a second of this mug to buy then, so gone forever.
I’d happily break a decanter for more Neore!
Hopefully, with the near-death experience now behind it, that decanter will speak with all of the wine glasses to teach them the trick(s) of survival . . . .
I love that vintage of Vatan!
Snapped the stem off of a Riedel last night while cleaning. I thought I had mastered that chore (we don’t use the dishwasher very often)
I did not know Reidel made blenderware!
Looks more like Waterford.
Wife just came home. From her day of tennis and shopping. She was not happy.
You were supposed to go out and buy a replacement.
Do you really think I have any clue where one would actually find something like this to purchase?
Try your mother or sister. You also forgot to blame the dog.
Was working in my locker yesterday, pulling some bottles, had a few sitting on the floor (concrete). Moved the ladder a little bit too much and knocked over a bottle. Crack, wine all over the floor. My lone remaining 2007 Donnhoff Felsenberg Trocken
Man, it smelled good while I was cleaning it up.
Send the help.
You know this has been a really funny/sad thread but please if I have to see anymore old guys nasty bloody feet I’m putting this thread on ignore!!
I’m here for the Lalique blender porn.
