I may have been accused of not liking the vase
Our pepper grinder would not turn because apparently I was turning it the wrong way. This possibility did not enter my mind and I made it turn anyway.

Nor my own stubborn stupidity!
I took a glass out of the cabinet and it caught on its neighbor, pictured here. Glass flew everywhere and we’re still finding shards in nooks and crannies weeks later 
I find that walking around in bare feet can help find some of the shards.
