What’s the big deal about the wine cellar? Am I missing something? Looks pretty pedestrian for a 13k sq ft estate.

the cellar is a nightmare - two walls for only 30+ bottles … (I would need 200+ walls) …

The house looks uncomfortable and soulless …
only the site is really nice …
(no matter how much it is worth … I would never want to live there …)

A lot of local remodels of more expensive homes seem to add a wine room or wine wall with that useless style of racking. It seems they just want to tout a wine room but don’t realize how useless it will seem to anyone who wants one.

Previous owner. Here is some background. The property has taken a huge price cut in the past year.
There are an incredible number of gorgeous houses on Lake Minnetonka. The largest is around 32000 sq ft. There is a lot of money too. Some new, some old, and often well hidden.
Edit to add. Lake Minnetonka with all of its bays has over 100 miles of shoreline.
