Seems like a decent buy up there now.

I wonder if this is the reason that I just got an email from WTSO telling me they’re back to shipping to Illinois. I’ll have to ask them for further information. I’m not interested in shipping to Wisconsin or Indiana and then going to pick it up.
Just had my question answered by WTSO. They now have a warehouse space in Illinois where the shipments will be sent from. They’ll charge sales tax now, but at least I get access to the wines I want. Excellent!
I bit on the 2014 Donatien Bahuaud Les Boires Chinon…not enough funk and too polished for Alfert but dang, killer qpr for $18.99 and absolutely worth grabbing if it appears again – legit delicious goodness.
And a correction to the FedEx Location hold time, it is 5 business days, not 15.
They will do that at UPS outlets too, but only for 3 days.
Some Robert Storey Dry Creek cabernet up right now. 2016. I’ve bought this two times before (previously Rutherford, not Dry Creek). Great QPR.
Haven’t bought from WTSO in several years but would note that Hold at Fed Ex Pick Up Location may also include local Walgreens. I use both interchangably and find they work surprisingly well.
1.5 Veuve for $89.99. Not bad esp since free shipping and no tax .
Has anyone tried the Dierberg pinot up now? Seems fairly compelling at $18, great reviews and price is well below list/other online shops

No but price seems good for pretty good rated wine . Seems like a buy .
I am not on the site but which Pinot is it? Vintage and Vineyard? More than happy to provide some feedback if possible.
“Dierberg vineyard”(estate i guess), 2014.
They have Vineyards in the Santa Rita Hills and the Santa Maria Valley.
This one was made by their previous winemaker, not their current one, Tyler Thomas, who was at Donelan post Pax.
Not sure what the Tariff is, but probably worth a flyer on a few.
Was $17.99 . 4 bottle min gets free shipping (not sure about the other charge).
well he hold shipping till the fall when it’s cooler?

yes. you can set the shipping date.
Just received notice that WTSO is shipping to TX again. Same situation as mentioned above by John for Illinois; they will now charge sales tax.
The best customer service. Had a corked bottle and they offered either to send a new one or refund the purchase. Had it been fall would have resent it. Many deletes but when you cherry pick you win!
This looks like a good deal based upon CT notes from people I know, but you never know what an NV blend is. I have had good luck with champagnes from WTSO so I got some.
