Official WTSO thread

Just bought 2013 Robert Stemmler Pinot Noir Lawler Vineyard .

$19.99 no tax no shipping.

I have been buying on this sight for several years. It seems to me that earlier they offered better deals than today. It seems to me that a lot of wines til “sold out” are repeat deals. So did they sell out, or not?

I guess ‘selling out’ has several meanings!

And today I picked up 2013 Winside Vineyard.

Good wines at good prices

If you want more of a wine you bought, send them an email. Minimum purchase of 4 bottles for free shipping.

Offer is back. Decent buy IMO. The Winside Vineyard is a very good buy IMO (if it comes back up).

Just came back up. I’m assuming you still think it’s a good buy?

Yup . Check out info on CellarTracker. Would buy without hesitation if I needed wine

Current offer is not the Lawler.

Winside is even better

Good buy out there for Stemmler Pinot Noir. Nice reviews on CT too.

Decent buy out there on Ladera 2103 RRV Pinot Noir

Haven’t seen anything interesting in the last 4 months or so, and have been looking for an entry level Condrieu.

Vins de Vienne ‘La Chambee’ Condrieu 2015 for $32.99 is up now, 91.8 in CT with good notes. I’m in for 3.

PSA to the person bidding $45 on this in the current Winebid auction …

Thanks for the heads up.

I bought those the last time around. They are good, but not the 95-points good that WS gave to them…they don’t have the intensity or length. I’d give them an 89.

I have been generally very pleased with WTSO. Their customer service has been responsive and more than fair. Although, they are now restricted from shipping to many states now (including TX and IL). Also, I feel that there were better deals a few years ago. I bought several wonderful '04, '05 and '09 Spanish wines at bargain prices. I used to find everyday drinkers there, but not so much anymore. I use them sparingly now.

the 2008 Di Meo Taurasi riserva, at $19.99, is a steal. Really over-delivers

Has anyone tasted the Cardinal Rule Dry Creek Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 that’s up now?

WTSO is back in IL as of yesterday. Not all wines are available, and the shipping window changes a bit I think because they shipping to a location in IL, then shipping to consumer. As they put it, they are “shipping directly within IL”
They are also collecting sales tax which they did not do before.

Chateau d’Yquem Sauternes 2010 375 $220

Good wine up there now and a good buy IMO. Ladera Pillow Road RRV Pinot Noir.
