Even though I wasn’t planning on drinking last night, I hung out with a few friends and we opened a bunch of village level 2017 red burgs (and a 2017 Barolo and 2013 Pol Roger). I couldn’t resist. Really enjoyed the wines.
Gonna try to make February “damp”. Mostly weekends.
We are breaking the dry streak tomorrow. Almost exactly 7 weeks.
I kept dry January. As planned I’ve mostly kept it to weekends in February.
I kept the streak till Valentine’s Day. Seemed like a natural endpoint to end with champagne to celebrate the day and 6 weeks sans alcohol.
Same, if not slightly drier. My February is moist.
I was away Valentines Day, which is also the anniversary of our engagement, so tomorrow is our synthetic Valentines Day.
