Official Costco Thread

My local Costco (a newer location in Mass) has had a 2021 and 2022 Mouton there since it opened, so probably a year and a half? 699 and 799 respectively I think.

I have never experienced a business center Costco location except for Tukwila, south of Southcenter.

Whole goats, primal cuts, whole ducks, etc…

There is no biz center in Kent. Lynnwood and Fife. I think we are talking about the same location.

Last time I thought about it, I’d rather have wine, flu shots, and three packs of prime ribeye than gallons of ketchup and whole goats .

When did the open a Costco in Kent?

The only ones I know down there are in Tukwila, Fife, Covington, Federal Way, and Sumner…

Tukwila…all the same in the valley by our offices.

I should have said Tukwila.

It sounds like a a small town Australian trying to say “tequila.”

The SLO closeouts are getting even closeout-ier:

I would buy all the Graetz at that price.

Patrick is right about the Graetz. Wow! That’s also a pretty good deal on the Inglenook 2019 cab. WTSO was recently selling the same bottle for $65.

I don’t have any experience with Graetz, so I didn’t go that way, but I picked up a few of the 2022 Lagrange and the remainder of the Dauzac.

Whoa, that is very serious closing out. Would have picked up quite a bit more when I was there about a month ago if those prices were what they are today.

Wonder if they are making room for 2023s . . . .

Wow - some awesome deals. I am embarassed to share what my local richmond, VA Costco has
i. e. nothing…

Bordeaux isn’t even really one of our top go-to regions, but I would have purchased some Pontet if there was any left. The bin was empty when I got there, though, so someone else had the same idea earlier.

P.S. We opened a Dauzac last night for science, and I thought the balance was really lovely. I’m glad to have more to drink in coming years.

The 2022 Lagrange is a really good wine, the best Lagrange I have ever tasted. At that price, you should buy every bottle.

If I owned a wine bar, I’d be blowing out Spanish charcuterie plates all weekend.

Chicago LP. Expiration date is 5/15.
