Not really familiar with those manufacturers.
Gotcha! Appreciate the quick response!
Taking a flyer on a few as CT notes are strong (limited) and they’re literally about half of WS lows
Not a crazy enough deal for me to drive the 40 min, but thanks for posting!
I’ve got an idea for you. I’ll send you a DM.
Closeout price at the San Francisco location. I enjoyed the 1 bottle I purchased at $35. I loaded up at $20.
Also at $19.97: Stirm Cabernet Pfeffer “El Gabilan” 2021, which I also recommend (and enjoyed at $30).
Duly noted. I like Loire Chenin so was thinking it might be worth a shot, but I don’t really know much about the white Saumur category.
For $15 bucks, probably worth a flyer.

More 2022 Bordeaux coming into the Danville Costco, but for the most part the prices are as high as other retail shops. Lynch Bages, Pichon Baron and SHL in stock, as well as some others. One value is the 2022 Laroque at $34.99. It is a really good wine for the price.
The price sign on the LLC seems to be for Leoville Barton?
That’s an impressive array of large format. Texas seems to have been decreasing their large format over the years and this year I only saw a handful of SKU’s, highlighted by a less than impressive 2022 1.5L Duckhorn and a 3L Daou.
North Scottsdale
Man, they are struggling to sell those big dogs. Looks like the same prices as when i was there Nov. 15th. Gotta keep our eyes peeled for the $0.97’s to hit ![]()
South San Francisco has a bunch of new 2022 Bordeaux at competitive but not compelling prices.
I didn’t see any interesting large formats, but I see this:
Are these normally sold at Costco?
That’s new. Head over to the Cam X thread and just keep scrolling down for the – how to best put this? – mixed reaction.
Thanks for the link. I figured it was discussed there, but that thread is crazy and I knew I’d never find it.
Regardless, it’s nice to be able to try a bottle of one of these wines without having to buy a case.
One of these days, those guys on that thread will realize that they are the product not the wine.

Let it go already!!!
You will see soon enough. He is not building a winery to make money selling wine. He may not even be making money selling wine. He is building a brand that checks enough boxes that he can find someone to sell the brand too. That is the game. And it is much more profitable than selling wine. He’s done it before and he’s in the process of doing it again.
