Well, they never seem to have a shortage of Caymus…so there’s that.
That’s the thing, they probably have 150 different wines at my Costco. 145 are generic stuff and 5 are $200+ behind a glass case (and not bargain prices).
Unusual for OC Costco: White Chateauneuf (14.5% alcohol)
Don’t know if there are any left, since there were 7 on the shelf @ Laguna Hills Heather Ridge.
No pics and still no death *'s at Boise Cole Rd, but tried a few Sancerre Rose for $12.99. Crazy tonsee Quintus 2019 in box for $87 and 2020 behind glass for $120 and still no death *.
Bubbles selection is awful, the Sake selection is better.
The few times I’ve seen CNDP blanc up in my region, it hits the death * and is blown out sub $20. I’m still not convinced it’s worth it at that exchange though.
LP Chicago has '21 Cafaggio Chianti Classico for $10. Good bargain to pair with pizza carryout.
The SLO store has the Mumm Rose Champagne at $26.99…picked up one to try, anyway. Also got a bottle of 2021 Nittardi Ad Astra for $12.99 to check out.
Solid deal on '19 Mt Eden Estate Chard at the Fountain Valley store. Nothing else to mention but I couldn’t pass on that.
I’d buy it at that price as well.
Maybe some will be there when i visit again ha
That would be a great buy. Those really age well, too, so stuffing some away for 10-15-20 years is very worthwhile if you have the room for it (ha!).
Yeah no! I still have most of the 2010’s I bought and still trying to recover space from the 2019 Bordeaux blitz a couple years ago
I’ve stuck bottles of this in a downstairs hallway closet long term due to lack of storage space + the low price point + belief in their hardiness.
I’ve had 2010 and 2006 from the closet in the last couple years and both were great.
I get what you’re selling Chris but I’m too old and out of the closet. Van Nuys if you want a case or two ha.
Gentle nudge - Could we please include the city and maybe the state (if unclear) of the store we are posting about?
We didn’t need location before because the old board included the location of the poster, but the current board does not. I don’t mind seeing store numbers too, though I have no idea of the numbers of my nearest stores.
I’ve just assumed I’m not top level CostCo hipster enough since I don’t have the store numbers memorized.
Honestly, I haven’t a clue what numbers my local stores are. I would assume that’s only something store management would even know.
