To have it appear as a purchase of groceries and household supplies on the CC statement?
But also, it’s in hand, no extra trip, no shipping cost, I guess.
After the rush of Costco awesome bargains on 19 Bordeaux, we are now back into the usual world where Costco has generally pretty good to good prices on wines, but only rarely the very best prices you could find anywhere.
West Plano had this and when I walked past it yesterday I thought seems like a decent price but I waffled, and when I went back today, it was all gone. Tried the 2020 and thought it was spectacular. Priced high for 3rd growth but there’s a reason why.
at the Torrance location on Lomita and Sky Park earlier today:
{whole lotta nada} … except (presumably current release) TIgnanello at $148. Honestly, don’t even know if that’s a good price, I just know it’s new to the store. Everything else a snoozefest. … I wonder how much time needs to pass for this '19 Bdx hangover to be … well … over.
New, but limited to 2019. It’s a one off label for the family’s 160th harvest. I had the pleasure of (unknowingly) telling the proprietor that I didn’t really care for it at UGC and I hope they go back to the old one.
They had some balla bottles in N. Scottsdale today. In addition to this cristal, lots of 1st growth Bordeaux 3L. Unfortunately they were all 2020, so the prices were not exciting. REALLY wish they snagged large format 2019’s. Now that would have been fun!
The world was ending when those orders were due and supply chain was a mess. Getting odd sized glass was impossible, one of many reasons you see 700ml so much more in US as it is produced worldwide while 750ml is for US.
