I tasted this at the Hanzell table @ IPOB SF and thought it was a solid wine; fermented in stainless/neutral oak. I took a case and there was still at least two cases left at lunchtime.

DFW has 2009 Trimbach CFE for $60 a bottle. Not a screaming deal, but never seen that wine anywhere in TX before.

Agree this isn’t a “screaming deal”, but it’s a screaming wine! I bought one bottle and after tasting it went back for 6 more…For me, this is a near-perfect Alsace Riesling, and the CFE comes somewhat “pre-aged” in that it is held back and only released when it’s ready to go.

not wine but my costco had boxes (6 per box) of highland park 12 year with a small bottle of dark origins for $19.97. i was ridin low and dirty.

Costco sells liquor in MO but the “deals” are typically more expensive than local shops, for whatever reason. I’ve never seen that type of thing here.

It’s actually $54.99 at Costco (not the $60 referenced above), but with Texas sales tax of 8.25%, that’s $60…
