Kona Costco, first time for ;
RAEN âRoyal St Robertâ 2017@$50
Paula Cornell Brut @$16
Both are â*â so one shot deal. Grabbed the last case of RstR
after reading thru the comments for the last 4 vintages.
If mailer to list is $390/6 and Hawaii shipping is usually excepted from any free shipping offers so thatâs another $8-15 per 750.
Iâve learned in wine to make leaps of faith, relying on the CT crowd sources. With Hawaiiâs supply chain issues and thus â the Price of Paradise â the Kona Costco has been ringing the bell for me.
The DE Costco has none left because I got the last 8 bottles today.
75% Cab 25% Merlot.
Must be a Medoc one.
Or maybe Haut Medoc.
I wonder if it will improve in the next year or 3 ??
I grabbed 1 1/2 + cases of this.
They found some more this morning after telling me that a guy grabbed the last 3 cases yesterday.
I grabbed 6 more and then went back and got the last 8.
I saw it out of the corner of my eye when walking through Costco this past weekend but I did not stop to investigate. I assume you like it since you bought 12+ bottles?
Costco DFW area has just done their annual post holiday wine markdown. Mostly large format wines. Discounts are 35-40% off. Picked up Freemark Abbey 3L and Raymond Cab 3L. Also had Duckhorn 3 pack including 2017 cabernet, 2017 merlot and 2018 chardonnay and a Prisoner 3 pack.
Markdowns are done at the regional level so this would be for Texas and Louisiana only. That being said, this is the time of year that other regions would be marking down their holiday wines so not a bad time to checkout Costco if you had another reason to go.
