Like the NYC: Rose bash: May 3rd - Event Planner - Online or Offline - WineBerserkers event, this is larger and there will be LOTs of civilians who are NORMAL people. There will be a nerd corner, but you still must play nice with the others.

The theme is Spain. Lots of tapas/pintxos. For wine, I will provide a case of mixed Spanish wines and a couple surprises that I’m flying back with from San Sebastian.

Feel free to completely ignore this theme if you feel like drinking something and bring whatever you want. This is the anti-hard rules event :slight_smile:

The house remains unchanged. We venture down amongst the “lower” folk as charity for a dear friend.

Oh and theme suggestions welcome. Will be bigger ~30 people so probably not ~ “1er Cru white burg from 80s, but odd years only and no prime numbers.”

My wife is interested so if there is room, we are two peeps. We will bring thematic red wines. Probably one Grenache and one Tempranillo. I do not think that we have any whites from Spain. Should we bring glasses?

If it’s not a bother to bring glasses, please do. We’re getting up there in headcount and don’t want to strain our hosts too much.

Done. No problem. Please send address. Is the wine going to be served blind? If not, I will post here in advance. I will bring one Spanish and my wife will pick hers from whatever she wants in our cellar.
