I think thats a great idea - most people will have gone through the other offers already and have time to look into them.

I was going to suggest that a half hour is not a lot of time, and an hour would be nice. So I think you’re on to something!

If it must be cute, how about ‘Newbieserkers’?
That said, I agree that ‘newbie’ can have negative connotations and would be fine with “First time participants”; “New Opportunities”; or somesuch.
