I’m strongly considering putting all 15 (yes, 15, i.e. BD15!) Newbies in one launch group for BerserkerDay 15, like ‘Newbie Hour’ but it’s not an hour, it’s half an hour…any clever terms I can use for the Newbie group if I decide that’s the way to go?
I just feel it might be fun knowing this particular 30-min increment is all Newbies, gives a different outlook, you know you are researching a bit more, find some new discoveries, bookended by all the madness before and after.
No, it’s a launch group - each launch group (typically 10 sellers) launches in 30-minute increments, chosen randomly (all this is in the OP, plus much more!). I’m strongly considering launching all 15 Newbies in one group, somewhere throughout the day, so when that group launches every buyer on the site knows it’s all Newbies.
The ‘FAQ’ section includes the original post in this thread, as well as a ‘what to expect’ for new buyers, both linked below
Are you looking for a name for this year’s cohort (e.g. “the Fantaftic Fifteen”) and then you’ll have a different name for next year’s cohort (e.g. “the Sweet Sixteen”), etc. Or are you looking for a new term to replace “newbie” that can be used to refer to new sellers?
Yeah, that would make sense, and I thought of that but since last time it was a standalone event, I didn’t want to cause confusion…but it sounds like we already have that!
Grab it and move on. Does exactly what you want; anything else is wordsmithing. How much time do you want to spend on that? Especially, IMHO, it is inconsequential to the desired outcome of introducing new producers.
