New York City, aka Manhattan and the boroughs BYO

Thanks but I assume you meant 2 750s OR 1 magnum

Atoboy is doing no corkage Mondays. Limited to two bottles.

Is the BYOB map Debottled? I can’t log into it. I would like to update Long Island.

I don’t really have time to update it frequently and got annoyed at people telling me that some of the info was outdated so I decided to only restrict access to myself and close friend group.

That’s a pity. I was using it all the time. I have just requested read-only access. I would appreciate it if you could grant it to me. Thank you

Le Chene $100 (West Village)
Consulate $50 (West Village
Orsay $50 (UES)
JG Mellons $30 (UES - bring stems)

I reactivated it for everyone

Shinzo Omakase - they have alcohol but charge no corkage fee! The server will put your bottle in the refrigerator and keep your glass full throughout. Amazing. The $69 13 pieces omakase course is great, definitely best Omakase QPR I have had.

Do they have proper wine glasses or would you suggest to BYO?

IMO their glasses are fine for white wine, but I am less picky with white than red stems.

I brought ch. margaux 2010 to Elio’s a few months back and they charged $100. Made a comment about how they were going to chirp me for BYOB-ing, then saw the wine I brought. Thanks I guess?? OK wine service but guess you don’t go to Elio’s and expect top notch service.

Also, Hori has no corkage fee and good stemware and just amazing all around. My favorite restaurant in the city at the moment.

best combo peking duck house… also the mariage with wonton soup…
