funny…my dad took me here in 1991. i live a few blocks away and never returned but have been meaning to. this post helps!
Anyone happen to know latest BYO policy at Gabriel Kruenther? They aren’t picking up phone or responding to emails…
$125 with max of 2 bottles.
Thank you
Nudibranch $35/bottle and on InKind, 4.5 yelp review… checking out for first time next week. Email response was very wine friendly, OK with 6 bottles for 6 people. Willing to discuss wine dinners.
Le Veau d’or
1 bottle per two people for a maximum of 2 bottles at a table.
$100 for a bottle of still; $200 for a magnum
$150 for a bottle of sparkling; $300 for magnum
First time I’ve seen sparkling > still
I’ve also never seen this before. I would love to know their reasoning.
did this last night…friendly about it (at $100 they should be) but the glasses were disappointing…particularly for burgundy.
Al Badawi - Excellent kebab-type spot on the UES with $0 corkage. OK glasses, no Zaltos here…
Angel Indian on 37 Avenue between 75 & 76 St, Jackson Heights, Queens. $0 corkage, basic glasses.
Superb curries both vegetarian and not; really great veggie dishes (begnan bharta), Pretty solid to v.good other indian dishes too.
Paola’s on the UES is $45 and Hawksmoor is $50 except on Mondays where it’s $10.
Crown Shy in FiDi is no corkage fee Mondays. Quite far downtown, but very good.
Anyone know if Shirokuro allows BYOB?
Nobody picks up their phone and their email does not work.
anyone know the corkage fee at crown shy not on mondays?
edit…$50.
Gui steakhouse @ timesquare
$10 each max 2 on Mondays
Otherwise $75 max 1
Already on the BYOB map but Sofreh’s corkage is $50 per bottle. Brought a 2000 Lynch Bages so definitely worth it!
Website says: “Industry Mondays, $10 Corkage Fee/750ml, Up to 1 Bottle per 2 guests”
Think they let you do 2?
