Hi,
This is such a great thread for anyone starting their wine journey. I’ve been exploring different varietals recently—really enjoying California Cabs and dabbling in Old World wines too.
I also put together a simple guide on wine basics that might be helpful for beginners: Wine for Beginners Guide
Looking forward to learning more from everyone here. Cheers!

Hi Im Steve. Im here primarily to sell my wine. does anyone have any ideas ofhow to do that? I was going to go thru Winebid but they mention $2500 min. otherwise they take a larger profit
something like 20% plus shipping fee. I assume they normally cover the shipping and have a lower commission. Not sure.
Hey Steve - we have Commerce Corner here, but it requires a 25-post minimum, basically establishing oneself in the community before trusting others to arrange private transactions.
There aren’t many other websites that allow any sort of private wine sales transactions, so auctions is your best bet. If you don’t have enough to make the minimum, pehraps just enjoy the wines instead, as it may not be worth the hassle anyway!
