Marcassin

Quite confusing considering they last released the 13 pinot.

I didn’t get anything from them today :frowning:

Know this is somewhat of a dream but if anyone doesn’t want their entire allotment I would be very grateful to grab a couple Chards or Pinots??? Just would like to try them without breaking the bank…
Live in Northern Cal couple hours from Napa.

I’m on West Coast not far from them…

Nothing in my mail from them today.

The letter is arriving from Marcassin today. Oh decisions, decisions.

For those of us east of the west coast and have a few more days of waiting, will someone post the letter?

I wouldn’t have minded more info about the 2021 wines… but I’m all in regardless.

expecting less?

Didn’t know if they would charge less for newer vintages vs their later releases.

Shipping a bit pricey if you’re a right coaster… these are polarizing it seems for sure, but unique and tasty wines my humble (I’m pretty ambidextrous when it comes to enjoying wines)
Just had an '07 Estate Chardonnay, took about an hour to really strut its stuff, I’ll be interested for sure in the back vintages '14 going forward, still have a smattering of both pinot and chard in between

It’s surprising the 21’ is the same price as the 13’. The 14’ looks like it will be released next spring and assume it will also be $150.

Agreed

i understand the logic but who, with respected wines in Cali, who charges less ever? If you are correct on the 14s i will be very happy

I would’ve thought the price would be higher, not lower.

I’m on The Aubert and Kongsgaard mailing lists. Some other great CA Pinot lists as well. I’ve never had Marcassin. Whom are they closest to stylistically or close to for Pinot and Chardonnay? With the market the way it is and the wording of their letter, wonder if they are accepting new member requests?
