Had anybody been experiencing super long wait times until they ship orders. They used to ship within two weeks of ordering, but now it’s over a month at times.
They just shipped my fall marathon order, so I’m sure they’re behind the curve considering the carriers shipping quota.
Only with marathon orders. Otherwise it’s usually pretty quick. I have found they are usually responsive with emails so perhaps try chasing them.
Any suggestions on the Landy Vineyards Pinot Noir Los Carneros Sonoma 2018 ? Sounds intriguing to me.

Hmm has anyone ever had missing bottles from LBW? I just got my fall marathon and missing 2 bottles out of the 6 I ordered.
I sent them an email … but this is strange.
Yes, on an ordinary offer. I have been in email communication with their customer service person.

Yes. 2 bottles that never shipped. Multiple emails to LB, no response. Finally just filed a dispute with my CC.

Happened to me also. The marathon order showed as shipped, with the same tracking # as another marathon order, but when the box arrived it only contained one of the orders. I emailed them over the weekend and they responded today. I find them to generally be pretty responsive

Just got a reply as well. They ran out of bottles. Guess that’s what happens when you request fedex shipping and not GSO you get leftovers.

I did a search and didn’t see much - Any insight on the Sleeper Cabernet? Looks like an interesting story and CT notes seem positive. Wondering if anyone here has experience and would see it as worthwhile.

Nick, I too tried to get some info on the Sleeper to no avail. Regarding CT, I couldn’t find any wines in common that I have had with the folks who reviewed the Sleeper, so it was hard for me to gauge whether my taste aligns with theirs. I also tried the mystery cab six pack from lastbottle during the holiday sales and was not overly impressed with the selection. So figured with the lack of provenance and what the mystery pack considered as a “deal”, it felt like the right move to pass on the Sleeper.
Seems like another marathon happening 12/17… hopefully the power hour is better than the last dud…
Certainly hope so. Last one was absolutely terrible. Any idea what time it will be this time around?

Was I the only one that thought the last Marathon was… very lackluster? I’ll check this out for a little bit, but don’t have high hopes.

Yeah last marathon was lame. Hoping this one is better but won’t be able to watch it as closely.
I was just wondering if there’s a dedicated thread to the marathon…sounds like it’s not worth it. First year for me.
