Is anybody in Houston interested in getting together for an off-line meet up? Not sure if I got all the terminology correct, but looking to get together with some folks and talk about and drink wine sometime. Not sure if this is already happening and I’m missing it or something.

Would love to join as well - AOC is practically within walking distance for me (not a member though). My weekdays are a crapshoot though, so don’t schedule around me and I’ll only be able to confirm a few hours before, if that works.

I can pull something respectable from ~most French regions (though am not a big Burg collector), and have lots of OR (Pinot/chard) and CA (mostly Zin/pinot/chard, somewhat less by way of Bdx varieties but a few fun 90s Beringer and Ravenswood bottles).

Justin and I have been musing on what type of focus we should have, and while I’m partial to Bordeaux I don’t want to be solely self interested. If that date works for you shout out what region/varietals you’d like to bring to the table and “investigate”
I can likely make it on 9/3. Happy to bring anything or fill in gaps (with the caveat that my cellar is 99% old world so mine won’t be wine from the USA). I’ll probably open a bottle of Champagne in addition to whatever else I open.
Good w/ 9/3 and happy to roll with a Bordeaux theme (only caveat, as I told Myles via DM, is my oldest ‘offline-worthy’ bottles are '14s, so I can’t bring anything particularly dusty).
That sounds good to me! I have some older bottles we can sample. I talked to Brandon and he said AOC may provide a bottle as well. What time should we plan on doing this? 6 PM work for everybody?
