Grassl Glass + VYCE + Something New

WineBerserkers - once again, we are exceptionally thankful for our community’s support. There are new changes afoot for CJF Selections that expand beyond the Grassl brand, and we are launching them here. After the glass sales data below, you will find that we are expanding our “Selections.”

To the easy stuff:

This is all pre-order. But this year’s delay will be measured in days or a few weeks. Email updates on order shipping will follow on February 5th. The product continues to flow freely from our supplier, and the constraints and pain of 2022’s Covid issues have mostly lifted.

Go here: Wine Berserker 2023 — CJF Selections
When you find something you wish to purchase, pay attention to the variant of the products and seek out the WB versions.

On to the Selections part of the show

We plan to launch at least one additional product a month in 2023. Most will be wine-related, tabletop items, or gourmet foods we’ve used ourselves and want to share with you.

DOP Balsamic Vinegar
We have secured a parcel of vinegar from the esteemed producer Ponte Vecchio.

The three-pack will consist of their 12 and 25-year DOP Balsamic and a delicious Rosé Balsamic.

  • The 12-year ‘Affinato’ is a grape must from Trebbiano and Lambrusco grapes from Modena, aged 12 years, 100ML. (MSRP: $185.00)

  • The 25-year ‘Extravecchio’ is also a grape must from Trebbiano and Lambrusco grapes from Modena, aged 25 years, 100ML (MSRP: $245.00)

  • The Rosé is 250ML. Sampling this was a delight. Fresh, acidic, fruity. I have made dressings with this and added it to a prosciutto, burrata, and fruit platter. Just lovely. (MSRP: $20.00)

The three-pack combo, MSRP $450.00, is on sale today for $335.00, a 25% savings.
These will also be individually priced on the site, but the bundle is an excellent deal.

Table Linens

Our travels have allowed us to discover a small firm in Los Angeles called Atelier Saucier. Nikki and Staci are lovely women passionate about linens and have a history in the fabric industry. I love their napkin sets, and we chose four (4) for this sale day. We are considering adding their entire lineup based on how well these sell on WB. These are perfect for the VYCE line of tumblers.

  • Their Americana Cocktail Napkin set of (4): Today - $25.00 / MSRP: $32.00
  • Their Retro Gingham Cocktail Napkin set of (4): Today - $25.00 / MSRP $32.00
  • Their Patchwork Cocktail Napkin set of (4): Today - $25.00 / MSRP $32.00
  • Their Blush Cocktail Napkin set of (4): Today - $25.00 / MSRP $32.00

Cutting Boards

We are bringing in Caro Caro cutting boards from Guatemala. These are Fair Trade products. I love the sizes, the density, and the fact they are not very heavy. Reversible with a groove for juices on one side. Three sizes to choose from and a bundle pack if you need a set:

  • Small - 15"L x 5 3/4" W x 3/4" D ($30.00 today / MSRP $40.00)
  • Medium - 20"L x 6" W x 3/4" D ($45.00 today / MSRP $60.00)
  • Large - 18"L x 11 3/4"W x 3/4" D ($55.00 today / MSRP $70.00)
  • All Three! - $125.00

Just bought four of the 1855 glasses for a friend (love the ones that I have.) Probably should have made it six, but four is good enough for a “just because I think you need these” gift.

Voyage case already shows “sold out”. ?

It will be so nice to have six matching Champagne glasses!

We will look into the amazon pay thing Helen - sit tight

Alfred - I’ll handle the Voyage in a minute. Inventory sync issue from QB Commerce. I have plenty. Want 2? LOL.

Chris

I used Google Pay, I was a determined shopper!

It was after I selected my address in the Amazon address book, I got a couple of error messages that I couldn’t figure out. Tried logging out from Amazon Pay and back in again, but the issue recurred. That’s when I went to the alternate payment method.

Repeatedly on several attempts.

Thanks. I’ll try again later

Appreciate it, Evan. The thin wall construction on the Rocks Tumblers has been well received by almost all. Provides an elegant feel in the hand.

Hi Chris,
We are looking at the B-stock BYCE tumblers for picnic events. What makes a glass receive a B-stock classification? Thanks!

Rob,
Glass making is a challenge. At times, you’ll get a small bubble, spec of unmelted glass, a cooling cycle that makes the glass look like it has a ribbon in it, or a lip that has a small dip/rise. We throw away all glasses that are truly flawed (we recycle them for a new project we are working on in fact).

The B Stock are going to be perfectly fine for your needs - I promise. Or, I’ll ship you replacements, no questions asked, if you get a few dodgy ones you don’t like. There is never any risk with us. 100% satisfaction guaranteed.

See the inventory now. What is the code for free ship over $150? Or do you handle that on the back end? Currently shows $23.19 for the 4 glasses and the case.

Alfred, I don’t have a free code to ship. That figure for that box size strikes me as proper.
