Next time order one from Snow’s in Lexington, TX. I saw on my FB feed the other day they’re selling this year through Goldbelly.
I ordered both (Franklin is usually excluded from the sales)
Lewis is also newly on there, but how many 5lb briskets can one consume …

I got DeFara’a from Goldbelly. Ate one piece and there’s the rest away. A Tombstone from the frozen aisle would have been far better!

We order crab cakes from Boatyard Bar and Grill in Annapolis and they are truly astonishing, as is the tartar-type sauce they provide. Best crab cakes I’ve ever experienced.

My kids recently sent me a smoked sturgeon package from Russ & Daughters and it was inedible.
When I lived in NYC we used to love the smoked sturgeon from Barney Greengrass.
Call them (R&D), they will make it right. Ask for the “private reserve” sturgeon. (Although my last sturgeon order was a little rubbery so didn’t order this time).
I order a couple times a year, only a problem once and they made me whole.
I just got a lb of gaspe nova, a lb of gravlax, a huge whitefish, chopped liver, salmon roe, herring and rugelach beautiful.
I call the Brooklyn shop two days before and request “center cut” for the smoked salmon. Slices the size of dinner plates. Brooklyn fulfills Goldbelly orders.

I order the Ess-a bagels when they go on sale
What do you think of Ess-a Bagel compared to Zucker’s? I’ve ordered Zucker’s several times through Goldbelly (never been there live). They seem to be comparably priced.
I’ve never had Zucker’s bagels, so I can’t compare them to Essa. What I can say is that I worked in New York for close to 30 years and had bagels from many different shops during that time. In my experience, Essa was by far the best. I still order from them now that I’m in Connecticut.

Not quite Goldbelly but I ordered a full pastrami from Katz’s through their website, turned out great
Had done the Langer’s #19 Goldbelly recently, too, also outstanding
