How do you see the Chateau Musar red evolve? Do you believe it shuts down for a period of time? Are there optimum ages to drink the wine in your opinion? I ask because I do not ever recall tasting a musar that seemed “old.” The wine seems to age very gracefully.

I like your question. Chateau Musar has the ability to age and grow younger I don’t know why. But as every human person, the wine has the ability sometimes to evolve and go through sick periods but it usually recover impressively. This is why I recommend to drink the wine when it reaches a stage you like it.
