Three years as a winery, and our third Berserker Day: we like that math!
And we love this forum and its support for small, independent wineries like ours: our launch with BD15 is what allowed us to bottle our first wines. The accolades from Vinous, Decanter, James Suckling, VinePair, Jamie Goode, and more? None of it would have been possible without all of you, and we’ll never forget that

So, who are we?
We’re Apollo’s Praise, aka Kelby and Julia, winemakers who fell in love with the Finger Lakes, and one another, when we were fresh out of college in 2009. That makes us “old guard” up here 
It took us a few years to find one another… and then 15 years to find our own vineyard. But after years of being winemakers for separate wineries, we finally took the leap in 2023: we purchased our favorite vineyard, started a winery, and worked together for the first time ever.

Grüner Veltliner. Chardonnay. Our GG “The Knoll” Riesling. This blend may be idiosyncratic, but we’ll be damned if it doesn’t work. We only make a few hundred bottles each year, and sell it for one day, but that hasn’t stopped the wine world from taking notice. The 2024 picked up 95 points from both Vinous and James Suckling - how often can you say that?
The 2025 Lovejoy pack, plus a bottle of each of its three constituent wines, for $200 total!
For the real wine geeks out there, we’re also offering this six pack version that will include three bottles of Lovejoy, as well as a bottle each of The Knoll Riesling, Grüner, and Chardonnay!
