Did Stars and Dust winery go out of business?

Ordered from this winery on Vin Dependent day. Thier web site is now closed. Did I lose $200???

I’ve never dealt with them. Perhaps they just failed to pay GoDaddy to renew the website. Have you emailed or called them? (949) 355-5995 nikki@starsanddustwines.com (per a Google search)

Hi Bill,

@NikkiWineNerdPallesen has shut down the business, she’s shared that with the WB community.

She used VD to blowout the inventory. She mentioned in the offer, which I purchased two cases, she would wait for better weather to ship.

You’ll be alright and If she doesn’t see this post I’ll ping her.

Happy Friday, Fellow Wine Berserker!

Thank you — truly — for your Vince-Dependence Days love this summer and for your patience in getting your wines in hand! GOOD NEWS: We’ve found our Goldilocks shipping window this month!

Barring any weather surprises from Mother Nature, your wines (lovingly packed by me and family crazy enough to say yes, lol!) ship out from Central Coast CA on Tuesday, October 20th, via FedEx Ground with adult signature required.

If you’re on the West Coast or more centrally located, your wine should land by Friday the 23rd; East Coast friends, please expect yours more likely early to middle of the following week.

Your exact delivery ETA will land in your inbox, along with all shipping updates, once FedEx has your package — expect notification emails to kick in by Wednesday, October 21st. If you’d like to set preferred delivery days/timeframes in FedEx Delivery Manager, you can do so directly from the shipping update emails — and if you have any trouble with them, just let me know, happy to help with those tools.

Quick tip: if you won’t be home, and/or prefer no hassle coordinating to sign, it’s easy to have your box held at a nearby FedEx location for pickup instead — just choose “hold at location” on your tracking link. It’s free, and your wine stays safe until you grab it. (Note: the person picking up must be 21+ with a matching photo ID.)

Plan B: FedEx will attempt redelivery a few times should they miss you.

I am so excited to get your Vince-Dependence Days wines to you just in time for the holiday season!

More festive fun to come soon for BerserkerDay 2027…

Cheers & wishing you a fabulous fall weekend!

Nik
