De Negoce offer (Part 2)

I just got the de Négoce email to look out for next week’s ‘Something Big is Happening’! What would be bigger/larger than Lot 500 appearing, ~ the return of Cameron Hughes?

“Early access to offers and more”, I think it’s just the Labor Day/Week gradual sales.

this feels like a “special early access to Martin Ray’s new releases, discount with coupon code XYZ!!!” but I hope I’m wrong lol

My guess is it’s the 495-500 series of cabs…oh and the new label that the COLA database already revealed

Title is “Something exciting is happening next week!”

Dear Friends,

Next week, something big is happening - keep an eye on your inbox for our special announcement.

If you haven’t yet, [sign up for SMS] for early access to offers and more!

Really unlikely it’s a sale on old wine. More likely new offerings.

…Or “You want a hot deal, we’ve got one for you! It’s going to be in the upper 90s here in Napa so we decided to end our summer Buy & Hold program. All of your wine is sitting outside, staged in UPS and FedEx trucks waiting to be shipped!”

Just kidding… :upside_down_face:

Word, this guy got it. Rebranding! LFG! :wine_glass:

Thinking about this more, they will have to rebrand the whole website:

They have also filed new wines with COLA all the way up to lot 520.

Playing on FOMO.

Was told this fifty years ago, and it still applies - There is always more wine.

Yep, they make more wine every year :+1:.
What search term do you use to get the COLA’s for dN?
I keep coming up empty….Thanks.

Scott,
TTB website - go to COLA Registry> Search Public COLA Registry
Basic criteria window: Enter a Start Date and finish date. “Product Name” = de Negoce and click “Either” for brand name of fanciful. Leave others default blank. Hit Search. Enjoy.

Last entry is August 26th for a Lot 520 RRV Cabernet Sauvignon. Might Courtney grabbed another batch from Dehlinger? We’ll find out…

Happy Hunting. Cheers, Tim

Thanks Tim.
I actually got it. :grinning:

I noticed that there were three consecutive upcoming lots (513-515 maybe?) from Spring Mountain; a Cab Sauv, a Cab Franc and a Prop Red.

I also saw an RRV Carignan! Does Foppiano make a Carignan?

John,
It’s the “Future of Wine” and Courtney owns that Carignan now.

I just want to know what Tim & Scott are going to buy. I’ve been relatively indifferent/indecisive lately, so please keep me apprised of your purchasing decisions

I’m likely a sucker for CS & PN from a nice Appellation/Vineyard circa 2023….
For whatever reason?

BTW, # OG N.135 2017 Mendocino 80 to 90-Year-Old-Vine Carignan
was Not my cuppa booze.

Marie,
My cellar is overflowing at the moment, any purchases are split 2-4 ways with friends. Split a case of Lot 485 2023 Pinot Noir with a friend.

Good news, I’ve got plenty of 2017. 2018 de Negoce Cabs ready to drink. Scott just needs to show up at my door with a BIG WINE GLASS. Then I’ll start purchasing these current offerings

Cheers, Tim
