Is the cost from east to upper Midwest significantly lower than east to west? Genuine curiosity since it’s half way and 67 is the higher end of what I see other than Heritage Auctions which is the worst by far.

I’ve shopped with them for a year or so. Big reason I’m on their list is variety. Lotta PNW but also interesting imports no one spends time writing up and recommending. Cool company and business model.

I don’t think this should slide under the radar. Direct to the bottle shop….they are dipping their toe in the water of a different sales model. Maybe it’s a coincidence or maybe it’s a transition from futures to a CHW model?

409 was released as a future in Aug 2023 at $299 / case, not direct to bottle shop fyi

Looks like some bottles in cellars on CT. Somebody drink one and post a note! 
I don’t think that they select ppl to submit reviews based on either CT notes nor “public” chatter. I have been asked to submit reviews based on what I purchased on BF & xmas.
Plus the bottles need to be still available in the Bottle shop otherwise, the review would be useless.

I don’t think that #409 was direct to the bottle shop as I see the futures details on denegociants site for $299/case.

Quick update that I received my first two review requests today, for wines I ordered in Oct. Maybe they’re just on a delay or something? At any rate, I now need to open some wines soon so I can write an informed review!

But the irony is that I just got my first review request…for lot 17….which I bought 6 more bottles 6 month ago to complete my stock before it sold out. im happy to say amazing things about it because it’s true but what is the point? It’s sold out. How do they benefit from a review?
