I bit on the Ron Noble. Going fast….
Already sold out.
Wow, people were really hankerin for a domestic deal, that was fast like the before times.
I didn’t even have time to consider that one. I think the domestic more than brand label did it for most people. T1 was like 499.
Thanks for saving me $200 quick buyers!
I’ll keep the dN page open and keep refreshing the EOTY page. e-mail and text reading is too slow.
Estate reserve next, maybe?
I have yet to be disappointed with a PN offering from dN. This is the second time I think I’ve purchased a non dN label.
We getting closer to domestic cabs/cab blends which is what I want. I have way too much Pinot.
My problem is too much wine in general. Not sure my ratio of PN to Cab.
Booooo, a Spanish wine…
Back to the import bin… 2021 Finca Muñoz “Selección de la Familia Blanco” IGP Castilla 12-bott – de Négoce (denegoce.com)
Grabbed one. My wife loves it.
Just ONE ???!!???
that offer went impressively fast, same price as 214 at T1 price, which was guessed to be the same wine 2020 vintage. Nice price, though I didn’t care much for 214 (too rich and dark fruited for me. i definitely align more with the palm reading that Larry provided yesterday for Terrance)
There are a few more of the import whites that she likes so I am hopeful to grab some more. Space is limited. =)
399 with free shipping, 499 was the reserve, but it was quite a discount.
Whoever grabbed the Ron Noble case(myself included) got a steal. Its lovely and perhaps my favorite Pinot Noir I’ve had in the last few months.
I believe this is it on CT
The Ron Noble was a good deal. If DN is able to sell it at this price, it makes me think that #415 in the futures shop could be Ron Noble as was previously discussed. Maybe we will see the Essenze Barolo for $149 / case. One can dream…
I would have bought the RN, but I think my mixed case of 214/RN Reserve was enough for me (i don’t doubt the 2018 RN Estate is better than 214). I also bought 415 and 416, so I think I’m good. Not to get back to Larry’s bad descriptor discussion, but I think I get suckered in to “reserve” designations way too often. Just because I like a wine doesn’t mean I’ll like it turned up to 11. I know that’s not the only think reserve can mean, but it often does.
