De Negoce offer (Part 2)

It is most definitely roughly $0.50 per bottle per month, however, there is an automatic 5% per year rent escalation built into the contract. Either way, sounds like a good price, as ideally, I curb my buying and only do this for 2 years or so.

They also offer self-service lockers that cost less than $0.50 per bottle per month, but the smaller ones that I would need are all rented currently.

Thanks!

Some help here! I have a notification on the LEFT side of my avatar that I cannot make go away. What is this and how do I make it go bye bye? “High priority notification”

But in all seriousness… I think it’s a private message but I could be wrong.

Nope, not that! tried it.

Ok, I love rhone so may have to bite here. Which CA rose is better, lot 406 or 366?

Which Aussie Shiraz that is available is best?

Thanks!

There are some dN offers that should be coming I would think … based on the COLA’s search

PS. For the first time ever, I have nothing pending from them. This is a new one for me after all this time.

Give this a try. That is it. Click on message icon. Scroll to the end of the messages. Click on the down arrow at bottom. Hope this helps.

It worked! Kinda. Once I got to the very end, it didn’t disappear. BUT the “dismiss all” button showed up and let me click on that - and when I did - it went away! Thank you!

They are both very good. My wife prefers 406 ( I think it’s a little more fruity and smooth), I prefer 366 ( a little more minerally). Can’t go wrong with either. I also think the 365 and 218 are both very solid wines. Haven’t tried many aussies.

Lot 218 is OK, but a little overpriced, in my opinion. Lot 365 is also Ok, but not much fruit and VERY meaty and savory. Lot 369 is a great deal with the discount and more fruit forward, but I already have some of that.

Thanks!!

Good to know. I have a few 369s and a half a case of 370s but have not tried either yet.

My life advice, as someone who is paying for too much storage, mostly NON wine related, is to have a hard nosed approach to assuming this liability. It becomes very hard to extricate oneself from this obligation once the items are out of sight.

Additionally it doesn’t make any economic sense to pay hard dollars for storage. Look on WineBid for a sense of the modest values even aged, good Cameron Hughes Lot series go for. I suspect his dN lineup will end up in the same valuation band.

If you have early LTS orders- those marked “Fulfilled” without tracking numbers, chances are dN doesn’t have them. For almost 3 years I thought I still have a case of N.100. Well, it’s just wine.

So does that mean you received it and didn’t realize - or that they simply do not have your case available for you anymore?

Cheers

It’s pretty obvious it means he does not have it and will not be getting it. I assume they will be giving him a refund.

The controls at the company have been atrocious and many of the earlier LTS hold orders appear to be missing. I received all 6 of my LTS cases with a couple of them in the 100’s.

Is this based on actual experience ie They told you this?
Bc early on they had a different way of tracking the LTS and when they moved into the new system (about spring of 2022 as I recall) they were marked as “fulfilled” but no tracking number (so never shipped). About 3 months ago asked for an inventory of what they believed was still in LTS and the list was complete. Even the ones that met that early weird labeling of “fulfilled” (but no tracking number)
