Hi! We’re Erin and Massimo Di Costanzo of Di Costanzo Wines, and before anything else, thank you. Our first vintage was in 2010, and the reason we’re still here in 2026 doing this work is because of communities like this one. Your curiosity, support, and long memory for wines that matter has made all the difference.
About us: Berkeley native Massimo trained at UC Davis and went on to work at Tignanello, Ovid, Screaming Eagle and Atelier Melka before starting Di Costanzo. Born in Alaska, I trained as a sommelier in NYC before moving to Napa Valley, where I’ve run restaurant, wine retail and boutique winery projects for the last 20+ years. We’re a small operation by design, just the two of us, and St. Helena is home. If you ever find yourself nearby, we’d love to welcome you in for a tasting.
From day one, Di Costanzo’s focus has been elegant, classically styled Cabernet Sauvignon. Over time, our work expanded to include Costa Pinot Noir from Sta Rita Hills and DI CO Chardonnay from Moon Mountain, but Cabernet has always been the anchor.
“Massimo and Erin Di Costanzo are making some of the most impressive Cabernets in Napa and Sonoma counties. Readers with classically leaning palates will adore these wines. Best of all, pricing remains exceptionally fair for wines of this caliber.” - Antonio Galloni, Vinous
"Di Costanzo delivers detailed and complex, fine-boned, single-vineyard expression of Cabernet.” – Elaine Chukan Brown
“Massimo and Erin Di Costanzo’s story suggests that the American dream is still achievable, even in high-rent Napa Valley.” – Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate

Minimum order: three (3) bottles, any combination.
’23 DI CO Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley – $60 per bottle (release $75) - 12.8% ABV
DI CO in 2023 is positively ethereal. 100% Cabernet, 100% sourced from a single-vineyard (Rafael). A true reflection of '23, this is much brighter than previous DI CO Cab bottlings. Irresistibly inviting and pleasurable.
95 points JamesSuckling.com “Layers of dark fruit with notes of graphite, black olives, red currants and cedar, as well as a saline touch. The midweight palate has firmly framed yet refined tannins and bright acidity, leading to a tightly wound, cerebral finish. Very good and a nod to the old school.”
94 points Vinous.com “The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon DI CO is just as beautiful and captivating as it was last year. Blue-toned fruit, gravel, rose petal, cedar, lavender and graphite convey energy, tension and drive. This stylish, mid-weight, old-school-leaning Cabernet is irresistible.”
’23 Costa, Bentrock Vineyard, Pinot Noir, Sta. Rita Hills – $60 per bottle (release $75) - 13.6% ABV
Gorgeous. Neutral oak, explosive aromatics, pedigree for days. Just 97 cases made.
94 points JamesSuckling.com “Perfumed and focused aromas of dark cherries, dried strawberries, dried herbs, and pomegranate. The palate is medium-bodied with finely framed tannins and balanced acidity.”
92 points, Vinous.com “A gorgeous, expressive wine. Cedar, blood orange, spice, tobacco, and dried herbs infuse the 2023 with tons of character.”
‘23 DI CO Chardonnay, Deering Vineyard, Moon Mountain – $60 per bottle (release $75) - 12.8% ABV
A cashmere sweater of a wine. A textural beauty with a notably delicate presence.
94 points, Decanter.com “Picked early to preserve freshness and natural acidity, the wine leans into citrus notes, such as kumquat, and crunchy, juicy orchard fruit aromas. It’s bright, textured, and long on the finish.”
93 points, JamesSuckling.com “Fresh and vibrant aromas of sliced pears, lemon curd and lime zest. The palate is medium-bodied with laser-like acidity.”
